Flooding of New England............

Not sure how many of you heard it, if at all.
Hubby and I move to our new home, and are surrounded, by.........floods...........
Never expected this,/devastating to all involved.
Hoping for the best.........though, we know what we are up against.
Mannnnnnnnnn I am so all set.............As Nancy Kerrigan asked........"why.............why me.............????"
Done..................later...........won't be back for a bit/.........be well.... all!!

my family is right there with you....
my aunt is under 7ft of water.....
my grandmother now has lakefront property...good thing shes on the 3rd floor

and to think ..in other parts of the nation it hasnt rained in months...

We never used to worry about flooding here. But two years ago that all changed. My town lost over 100 homes in a maybe 400 home town. Some of those homes have just now been torn down and greenways are going to be there now since the damage to the ground was so great no homes cam be built there again. My brother was renting a cabin on the banks of the river and when they came to warn him to leave all he got was his clothes and dog. Thinking that the floor might get a little wet but his stuff sitting up high on the cabinets would be fine. After the water receeded. All that was left were a few concrete blocks of the foundation. The entire house was swept away and he lost everything he had. So many people suffered that same fate. Our ball field's were destroyed as well. Our home team wasnt able to play at home until this year. Flooding is a huge devastation to anyone who has been thru it. I pray that you, kass and god's families will be able to salvage something out of this and be safe.

The weather sure is odd lately..I think someone is trying to tell us something.
